May's Artsy Essay Topic:
If you could be
any animal,
which one
would you be...
and why?
You can choose any animal from earth, sea or sky. You can imagine what their life might be like or research the daylights out of them. Be creative and think outside the box, and let that wild child that resides within you out for some play. Any animal... any animal at all! Just imagine.......
Make sure you spell-check, use lots of colorful, evocative language so that we feel what you feel ~ see what you see ~ hear what you hear..... you get the idea. Remember, this is the Artsy Essay.... descriptive, descriptive, descriptive!!!!!
You have until the very last minute of the last hour of the last day of this month to complete your essay. A winning essay for a piece of original art.

Ahhh...this is something I can definitely get creative with. Is the idea not to let anyone know the animal until the end? (Hugs) Indigo
You could choose to do that with your essay... everybody can decide just how they would like to handle this...... a surprise or not.
I just plugged the contest for this month on my journal hon. Hope we can inspire a few people to participate. I'll be submitting my own entry sometime this coming week. (Hugs) Indigo

I have left my link. I hope I've done it all correctly as this is my first time. *blush* Wish everyone the best of luck. I always enjoy reading the entries. I'm always astounded at the creativity that this essay contest brings out.
I'm in, for a few days there I was truly wondering if I would make it this month. I really, really enjoyed this months topic. I can't help it the subject matter is so close to home for me. (Hugs) Indigo
I think the title was originally too long, I shortened it. I believe it should work now. I'm so glad you had a chance to experience a close encounter with a raven. It's mystical in itself. (Hugs) Indigo

Jim's link is on a friendship journal I have. I couldn't figure out any other way to submit it for him. He wasn't going to do this, but I encouraged him to go ahead and write it anyway. The result was every bit as worthy as I thought it might be. Thanks hon! (Hugs) Indigo
