hot off the presses

My very first "Artsy Newsletter " is completed - hot off the presses - and ready to mail out to galleries and shops, both my current and prospective galleries and shops, and I am really pleased to have completed this project as a new tool to communicate with people who are interested in my work. The newsletter will be mailed with pages of new images of new art.

All is well here in the environs of DC, but it is hot, hot, hot. A heat advisory remains in effect with a high today expected to reach 98 degrees and a heat index of somewhere above 115 degrees. Let's just say that the people of DC are not normally equipped to handle these sorts of temperatures, and I hope that most people will stay inside and cool today.

We saw the new Indiana Jones movie in Town Center yesterday and briefly walked an outdoor flower and garden show that surrounded town square, but I felt sorry for the vendors and the flowers, both wilting, in the heat. I hope this is not the herbinger of what is to come in our summer here.
