a brrr shiver blustery day

Yesterday was bone chillingly cold but crisp and beautiful and the perfect start to 2009. I worked on and finished the beetle study, a painting exercise and a bit of play (artists play too you know.) Virginia dropped by the studio briefly to get studio shots and the funny Happy New Year beetle is immortalized. I hope that your new year celebrations are filled with family and friends and lots of good cheer.
