it's all in the pesky little details

I have started one of the white flower paintings, but in looking a couple of entries down in this blog at the photograph that I took I realize that my printed reference image is still not up to par, so I will put that painting on hold until I can enlist the (volunteered) aid of one of my photographer friends (another resident artist at the art center) to look at my images saved to a memory stick on his color-corrected monitor to see if we can get a printed image that is closer to the photograph that I took originally in Philadelphia last year. Until then it will be on to the water lilies on a big long canvas that I had purchased for another project that is on hold.....



or maybe a new shell painting.



Last night Virginia was able to help me get a new studio shot uploaded to my website....

I still have to update some information there and now I will soon have a lot of new work to switch out some of the older pieces. I also want to put the storybook boxes up on the site....





so there will be some re-vamping coming soon there. I still need an assistant.
