guest post on Rockville Central

KOI

Yesterday flew by in a hurry as there is so much going on. I am beginning to check into giclee reproductions of my work as well as the possibility of creating a product line from my art. If anybody knows any good companies for that sort of purpose please give me a shout. I have looked at www.digitalartwear.com as well as a couple of other companies and am checking out giclee printers now, both locally and across the country.

Yesterday I wrote a
guest post on our local Rockville Central Blog (thank you Rockville Central!) regarding the Million Little Pictures project, encouraging the people of Rockville to join in and document their life through just 24 frames of film. This project is so interesting and who knows what pictures will result.

I am working on taking my pictures and need to get a long shot of the square showing our gorgeous 28,000 square foot art center, VisArts, with all the leafy green trees that look so pretty. We are so fortunate to have this art center and all its resources in Rockville.

The artists and staff of VisArts will be back at work on the motorcycle I mentioned in a
previous post, and I will try to get some pictures of the process and the finished product. I truly never know just what each new day will bring in my life. Truly. A staff member said that painting a motorcycle is just a mural with curves, and that is why I was perfect to lead the project. I will never look at a flat wall the same way again.

How exciting that you are looking into expanding your art into other markets. I look forward to hearing about which companies are good and which you choose!
