a little down time

echeveria

After a busy weekend at the art center Monday was a day for us to rest and relax and stay in to watch movies. It was a rare treat and I enjoyed it immensely. This morning the leaves on the trees outside my home studio are dancing in the wind and rain, and each rain shower is something to be grateful for as it nourishes the earth and sustains the plants and animals. Our resident owls hoot morning and night, and as always the raccoons scamper around the complex. A neighbor has been seeing a possum around our building, and the birds sing in the trees all day long.

I am working on the next monthly artsy newsletter and am planning some updates and changes to my artist website. I have some books on order related to art licensing and will be studying and reading up on lots of information.
LinkedIn is proving to be an invaluable resource both for information and artistic connections, and as I wend my way through the learning curve of licensing, connections and groups on LinkedIn have been tremendously helpful.

So much to do!
