summer sunflowers
Some good friends of mine are hosting a mini photo workshop beginning tonight that will culminate in a sunrise photo shoot tomorrow morning in a field full of sunflowers. Tremendous photographers and inspirational teachers, this workshop should be a big hit.
Having photographed sunflowers a time or two for my paintings, I will look forward to seeing the results of this workshop. Great things are happening in the photography department at the art center!

Did you attend the sunflower workshop?
I did not Coy, although I was invited. The workshop was well-attended by 85 people, but I felt that the things that they would be discussing would really be over my head as an amateur photographer, and I didn't want to get in the way of the more advanced people. Not sure if they have taken the field trip to the field yet... they were waiting for peak blooms.
Coy, I can now tell you that I have been to the field with the photographers:):):)
