art... after hours

A very successful arty get-together last night at the art center. I got to see my favorite photographer-friend, Bruce Barnbaum, who is in town for fotoweek DC, and the fotoweek show at the art center had a soft opening last night for our Art After Hours festivities. One of our resident artists was able to schedule wonderful entertainment..... The Music of Jazz Duo "Unstrung"and performances by AVA dance & ImproVolutions DC and we had lots of visitors. I made some new contacts, people browsed my work, and business cards were exchanged. Virginia was wonderful and spoke to visitors about my work when I was occupied with other people.... even taking guests on tours of the art center. What a gem. I am so grateful for her.
