painting pebbles

Work in the studio continues on the shorebird painting with hours spent painting the water-worn pebbles in shades of golden yellow, peachy orange, black, grey, brown and white. These pebbles come alive when wet and their colors glow and remind me of favorite spots on the Eastern shore where the water meets the land.
It is so good to put my focus back on the studio and the work, and with a recently acquired flip rack to allow visitors to browse prints and originals I will have a home for the goddess pieces as they are completed as well.
