Little by little I am getting a folder of pictures together (Brian Ferrell's gorgeous work is pictured above) from the Art of Tea event that will be posted on the Art of Tea blog so that artists who were far away on the day of the event can feel like they got to share in a part of the festivities. I still have to upload all the wonderful crowd shots!
With my computer back up and humming once again there are several projects which need attention, including updating my website, all this photo-editing, and getting new notecard designs of my paintings completed for printing.
It is hard to believe that it is November already and the time has just flown with all that has been happening. I am so looking forward to this time of getting back to normal and slowing down a bit as the recent hectic pace has been too much for my creative soul, but I am so proud of what we accomplished with the Art of Tea and bringing all these incredible artists together under one roof. I think getting these artists together will remain on my short list of things I am most proud of having done.
The time change and darkness at 5:00 is always hard to adjust to, but I am looking forward to it even less this year for some reason. The trees outside my home studio window this morning have almost shaken free of their leaves, and once again I can see their beautiful skeletons in all their glory. The older I get, the more quickly the seasons seem to pass.
It is the time of the Day of The Dead and today is All Soul's Day. After today I will change my tablescape in the studio having celebrated Halloween, Frida, and this special holiday all through the month of October. I already know what the next tablescape will be, but it is a surprise:)
