the rhodedendron commission

Well, it is official, the new owners love their painting and even love the "circles of confusion" that some viewers in the studio have decided are fireflies to their eyes. The painting has gotten a lot of positive feedback in the studio and I am so glad that the piece has met the expectations of the clients. As soon as I can get the shipping materials together I will be creating the FedEx shipment and the painting will make its way to a North Carolina mountaintop... so remote that the husband will have to drive down the mountain to meet the truck. The third of four seasonal paintings, this piece will hang above a gorgeous stone fireplace every Spring.

Judith...absolutly stunning work.
I am sure the people who bought it will enjoy it very much.
Dear Judith
I'm so glad I called by to read your entry today. What a delight to see your painting! I do like the spheres. They add mystery to the painting.
I also love the smaller Koi painting on the window shelf. Such fluidity in motion! You have captured that so well. My husband keeps Koi and I have often wondered what one of them would look like in a painting. That's amazing too!
The seven sisters or/ the 7 Sisters?
I like the look of the number title. It stands out, or, projects the concept more than the first one.
Fantastic, inspirational and defintely one of your best!!!!
