a busy studio 2
lots of space to work on several things at once

2 smaller faux encaustics drying
smaller canvases with faux encaustic drying

large faux encaustic complete
the large canvas finished... you should see it in person.....

I continue to refine and adjust the faux encaustic mixture to suit my needs, and am thinking I may work on a series of florals top-coated with this mixture as it softens the image and colors in really pleasing ways. The end result is a shimmery, buttery soft finish on the painting that is highly textured and reflective..... yummy! So much fun to play with this series........ they will be hanging in the gallery for the studio warming.
