One of my favorite long distance artist destinations for interesting things needs our help:
The Scrap Exchange
After a tumultuous spring, we’re settling into our amazing new location at the Cordoba Center for the Arts (across the parking lot from Golden Belt, at the east end of downtown Durham). The space is awesome, we think we can rock and roll here, but we need a little bit of help getting to our fabulous future.



We’re trying to raise $60,000 in just a few short weeks to fill the gap in our budget left by the relocation expenses and multiple moves, coupled with increased expenses at our new facility.


We had a huge amount of community support in the spring when everything went down with the Liberty Warehouse (see the news reports, as well as a little video we made about the first overnight move—or if you want the blow-by-blow account, check out the What Happened? page). And we can’t thank everyone enough.

But we still need help getting us through.


We know it’s tough for everyone these days, but we’re hoping people can dig deep and help us make it through this transition.


Because if things are tough now, think how much worse they’d be without The Scrap Exchange.
